Health Data Storage Policy
This policy explains exactly what health data Lifexam stores when you activate the document vault, why we keep it, and how long it is retained. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What we store
When you upload a document, we store: (a) the original file in your personal encrypted vault; and (b) structured data extracted from it — lab values, dates, reference ranges, measurement units, and practitioner references.
2. Why we store it
Your documents are stored and processed on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)). We use this data solely to provide your health record vault — so you can retrieve documents, track results over time, and share them with your doctor.
3. How long we keep it
Your documents and all derived data are retained until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual documents or your entire vault at any time from the Documents section. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
4. What we never do
We do not sell, share, or disclose your health data to third parties. We do not use your documents for AI model training, aggregate research, or any purpose beyond your personal vault — unless you separately and explicitly opt in.
5. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw this consent at any time from your account settings. Withdrawal triggers permanent deletion of your vault and all derived data. It does not affect data that was lawfully processed before withdrawal.
